With just 6 ingredients a blender and a waffle maker, these protein waffles can be stacked up on your plate in no-time. 

This recipe features a whopping 33g of protein to help your muscles recover after your workout. Or to fuel your morning to curb your hunger until lunch. With no added sugar and complex carbs from oats, these waffles will not cause any energy crashes or food comas. 

Once the waffles are ready, top with your favorite fruit or nut spreads for an extra boost of healthy fats.

Chocolate Protein Waffles 

Serves 1 

Total time: 10 minutes Ingredients: 

2 scoops Performance Lab® Protein1 tbsp peanut butter ¼ cup oats 1 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp cocoa powder  125ml milk of your choice  Topping ideas:

80g berries 1 tbsp chopped nuts 1 tbsp nut butter 2 tbsp yogurt 0.5 tbsp maple syrup 

Method:

1. Preheat your waffle maker. 

2. Blend the oats, protein powder, baking powder and cocoa powder to a fine flour texture. 

3. Add the peanut butter and milk and blend again. 

4. Pour all of the batter into the waffle maker and spread out. 

5. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Top with desired toppings.
